The Toshiba Mini NB305 builds on the NB205 with a similar but tweaked design, and latest hardware. The Toshiba Mini NB305-N410BN is an improvement over the already excellent NB205. The NB305 is a mini laptop with the familiar netbook specifications of 10.1in display, Intel Atom processor, 1GB memory and weighing in at not much over a kilogram. The toshiba NB305 is Easy to use, good keyboard, very light and battery life of over 8 to 10 hours.
The NB305 still has the 10-inch widescreen and the 1,024-by-600 resolution. There are three USB ports, one of which can charge any USB peripheral while the netbook is turned off. Every other port—VGA Out, Ethernet, Headphone, Microphone, and an SD slot—is consistent with other netbooks. Design-wise, the Toshiba NB305 features a durable textured finish in three classy and sophisticated colors – Frost White, Java Brown and Royal Blue. Two versions of the Toshiba NB305 will be available, one with the “true chiclet” keyboard for $400, and a black version with a standard keyboard for $350.
