Altek has announced a camera phone called Altek Leo 3.5G, comes with a 14-megapixel CCD sensor that makes it a great device to shoot both still images and HD video while you’re on the run. The handset packs a number of photo-shooting gears including a Xenon Flash, an LED flash and 3x optical zoom.

The Altek Leo also comes with a touchscreen display but no information about the screen size. The phone also supports high-speed data connectivity such as HSPA and 3G and it also supports WiFi. There is no indication about the OS that the phone will run, but it’s very likely to be Google Android.
Altek should sound new to you. Actually, it’s a digital camera OEM but now they’re making a phone that will most likely get rebranded later. Anyway, the company promises to announce with more information about the Leo 3.5G at the CommunicAsia 2010 event in June.
