D8, a company that isn’t as well-known as Microsoft, is ahead to have developed their first dual-screen tablet, called the Kno. Unlike other tablets, the Kno doesn’t come in a compact size. Instead, the Kno tablet has two 14.1-inch capacitive IPS displays that make it much larger than any other tablets we’ve seen.

Each 14.1-inch display of the Kno has a resolution of 1440 x 900. The D8 Kno weighs about 5.5 pounds or 2.5kg. It uses the NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chip for its CPU, graphics etc. The device also packs 16GB storage for your data and 6 hours of battery life. Currently, the Kno tablet is still quite laggy and buggy as it’s currently in its early development stage, and the company hasn’t yet announced the release date of the final version.
Price has not been announced either. This device is mainly targeted at students as it was first imagined to replace text books for students. But the main problem is its size and weight that will surely add more burdens to the students.
