Portable USB hard drives are so common these days, there are many users carrying around one or a few USB hard drives while they’re on the run. If these USB hard drives come in attractive designs, they’ll also make the owners feel little proud of them.
A USB hard drive comes with a case that presents attractive design is definitely more appealing than one that comes in boring case. The same applies to the newly announced Iomega Skin Drives, which have been made to be wrapped in cool skins that will make them and their owners to stand out in the crowd.
There are three versions of these Iomega Skin Drives, which are “Radical” Skin, “Red Hot” Skin and “Knock Out” skin. The “Radical” skin has a retro look, the Red Hot is red of course and the Knock Out is black and silver. The Skin Drives are only USB 2.0 compliant. No word about the pricing and actual availability.
