The MSI GT660 is a notebook made for gaming and it was first introduced back in February but full specs have just been unveiled by the company. The MSI GT660 notebook has a 16-inch HD screen and is the first to include MSI’s Turbo Drive Engine+ (TDE+); which is claimed to double RAM, CPU and graphics performance with just a press of button.
This MSI gaming notebook also uses the Dynaudio-developed sound system which is made up of two theater-grade speakers and a subwoofer. Under the hood, the gaming notebook packs high-performance components, including a quad-core Intel Core i7 CPU, a 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285M graphics chipset and three DDR3 RAM slots to accommodate up to 12GB of DDR3 RAM.
The notebook comes with a 500GB HDD as standard and another 500GB hard drive as optional. It has two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output, a 9-cell battery that should provide long hours of operation. And it weighs about 7.7lbs or 3.5kg. Although the specs of the notebook have been announced by the price still remains unknown.
