NEC is also prepping a touchscreen Android tablet, called the LifeTouch. The device will run Android 2.1, come with a 7-inch TFT LCD screen (800×480 resolution), run on an ARM Cortex A8 CPU and weigh about 400 grams. A video has also shown up that shows the device in action, which is included at the end of this post.
The NEC LifeTouch tablet will access to the NEC’s cloud server to run cloud computing applications, which is why the tablet is also named as Cloud Communicator. But, unfortunately, the video tells that the NEC tablet will not be sold to end users. Instead, it’s to be sold to businesses which can then provide it to their clients.
Features at a glance of the device are as follows, and watch the clip below for the UI, apps and e-book in action.
