Last week Nintendo officially announced the new Nintendo 3DS, and we found out quite a few specifications on the 3DS, one piece of information we didn’t find out was what graphics chip is being used in the 3DS.
The Nintendo 3DS uses a DMP PICA200 graphics chip with a clock speed of 200MHz, and it can display up to 15.3 million polygons per second, 800 million pixels and it has full screen anti-aliasing.

It sounds powerful enough for some great graphics on the 3DS, and they should look good on that 3.5 inch 3D display. We still don’t know what processor is inside the 3DS, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
