There will be days that you’re tired of holding a computer mouse. You wish you could simply move your hand to move the mouse cursor on the computer screen. Well, this will be made possible by Mouseless, which can also be deemed as an invisible mouse.
The Mouseless is like a mouse without a real mouse sitting on your desk. You just simply move your hand on the desk. The system was created by Pranav Mistry at the MIT Media Lab, which uses Infrared camera to capture your hand movements and translate them into computer commands.
Currently, there is no plan to bring this system to the market. But Mistry easily lets you know its business secret, telling you that you could build one by yourself for as little as $20. A video clip is included below showing the Mouseless invisible mouse in action.
