Samsung introduced three new notebooks in the Q-series, including the 13.3-inch Q330, 14-inch Q430 and 15.6-inch Q530, all with 720p displays. The flagship Q530 is just over an inch thick, and gets processing power from a 2.26GHz Intel Core i3, though a Core i5 is optional. For graphics processing, NVIDIA's 1GB GeForce GT 330M is installed. This portable system weighs 5.3lbs.

That same chipset will be available as an option on the smaller Q430, which gets a 512MB GeForce 310M as standard fare. It otherwise shares the same Core i3 chip and 4GB of RAM as the Q530. Differences include a smaller, 320GB hard drive versus the Q530's 500GB unit. The Q430 weighs 4.6lbs.

The Q330 gets the same CPU and adds hybrid graphics, switching between the integrated Intel processor and NVIDIA's GeForce 310M, as needed. It tips the scales at 4.3lbs and the five-cell's battery life is rated at up to seven hours. There is otherwise 3GB of RAM

The three have Bluetooth 3.0 High Speed connections and Samsung’s USB Sleep and Charge ports that will allow charging of smaller devices even when in sleep mode.

All three arrive in worldwide markets this month, though pricing has not been released.
