Samsung N-series netbook range has been added with a new member called the N230. The N230 is an ultra-light netbook but with high emphasis on its design, which comes in well-harmonized of glossy finish, mat and patterned black surface.
The N230 weights less than 1kg and measures about 23.3mm in thickness making its such a convenient device to bring along while you’re on the go. It’s equipped with an ergonomic island keyboard that increases its stylish look and also helps reduce the user’s wrist strain while typing for extended periods.
Goodies found on the Samsung N230 including the Samsung Fast Start works almost like instant on, innovative sleep mode that ensures data is saved to HDD even in the event of unexpected shutdown, and 10.1-inch anti-reflective LED display backed by Enhanced Battery Life for energy-efficiency etc. Its standard battery can last up to 7 hours. If this isn’t enough, you can get an optional long-lifer battery that provides up to 13.8 hours.
It’s also equipped with WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 High Speed, and 3G modem as an option. It also comes with Samsung’s All-Share, allows you to share content with DLNA-certified Samsung devices such as cameras or cell phones. No price has been mentioned and it’s only announced for the Korea market and no indication when it’ll be headed to the US.
