Samsung has had a number of rugged cell phones in its line. The latest of their rugged phones is the Samsung Xcover E2370. But what makes this phone stand out isn’t its ruggedness. Instead, it’s the battery the provides up to 67 days of standby time and a talk time of 22 hours, making it suitable for the adventurous who will always need a long-lasting phone battery in their challenging journeys.

As a rugged phone the Xcover E2370 is IP54-certified for dust and water proof. It packs some entry-level features including a 128 x 160 pixels TFT display, an FM radio, Bluetooth, VGA photo camera, 5MB internal memory, GSM/EDGE connectivity, and a microSD card slot that supports up to 2GB. The handset weighs 115 grams and measures 19mm in thickness which is quite a bulky piece.
The Xcover E2370 will be available in Sweden starting July 2010 for a price of 750 SEK or $96 USD. And it’ll likely enter other European markets next month too.
