Last year we were told that versions of the Flip camcorders that are so popular would be coming that feature WiFi. That didn’t happen so far this year. Cisco’s Marthin De Beer has told Comptuerworld that the WiFi camcorder is in the works.
De Beer didn’t offer up any hard information or firm launch date on the WiFi camcorders, but said he expects them to hit the market in time for Christmas. He also talked about other things going on at Cisco right now.
Cisco is working on adding compatibility for FaceTime video chat into products. One of the products will be a new app for the iPhone that will be called Movi for the iPhone.
