Mio has announced an unusual satnav device, Moov V780, at CeBIT 2010, which comes with GPS functionality but has a 7-inch 800×480 screen that also makes it useful as a media tablet. The little Moov V780 device comes with Web browser with flash support, Exchange-capable email, photo browsers, multi-touch capable music and a dedicated YouTue client.
The Moov V780 is powered by a relatively fast 600MHz processor and graphics that make it powerful enough to decode 720p video at native resolution through its HDMI port. This little device also comes included with a special case, which can be used as a keyboard dock for easy text inputting on a table or flat surface.
The tablet has internal storage of either 4GB or 8GB, includes a microSDHC card slot and a digital TV tuner that allows it to tune into a number of digital TV services including the Europe’s DVB-T, Japan’s 1Seg and Korea’s T-DMB. It supports WiFi g connectivity and has options for 3G or WiMax. Currently, Mio has not yet announced where this device will be headed to or how much it’ll be priced.
